About Yash Highvoltage

Yash Highvoltage Ltd. is an ISO 9001:2015-certified Indian manufacturer of transformer bushings, listed on BSE SME. For two decades it has supplied OIP, RIP and RIS condenser bushings, high-current bushings, wall and oil-to-oil bushings and retrofit solutions to national and state utilities and to transformer makers, with more than 45,000 products installed across 60+ countries and 1,000+ customers served. The company runs SAP S/4HANA Cloud, and like many S/4HANA Cloud customers it found that standard reports did not answer every operational and financial question its teams had.

The challenge

Two reports mattered most. Returnable gate passes (RGPs), for material sent out for repair, testing or job work and expected back, had to be tracked by age so that nothing was lost or overdue, and finance needed financial ratios by company code and period. Both were compiled by hand from SAP extracts in spreadsheets, which took time and was out of date as soon as it was finished.

The solution

AeonX set up a Yash HV tenant on DataSetu's Data Hub.

Connection to SAP S/4HANA Cloud over OData using five custom CDS views, with scheduled, incremental loads into BigQuery.

Architecture

DataSetu runs as a single Node.js 20 / React 18 service on Google Cloud Run in Mumbai, with Cloud SQL, Firestore, Redis, Cloud Storage and BigQuery, Secret Manager and Cloud Build. SAP connectivity uses OData V2 and V4 services and CDS views, with RFC table copy available for SAP ECC sources. An LLM gateway applies each tenant's model policy.

How Claude made it possible

DataSetu was built with Claude Code from the start. The repository has 952 commits between March and September 2026, and 850 of them (about 89%) are co-authored by Claude models; the product roadmap lists Claude as the owner of build tasks. The code base is about 234,000 lines across the server, client, edge agents and ML components, and the team works with Claude Code sub-agents for planning, development, testing, DevOps and security review.

Inside the product, DataSetu's copilot chat uses Claude with tool use through the Anthropic SDK, routed by an LLM gateway that applies each tenant's policy; a proactive monitoring agent runs through the same gateway.
