About Sunder Biscuits

Sunder Biscuits Industries is a growing FMCG manufacturer based in Nagpur, producing biscuits, namkeens, rusks, cakes, chips, fryums and sweets for markets across India. Like many fast-growing manufacturers, it ran procurement on a mix of phone calls, email and manual entries that had not kept pace with its scale.

The challenge

As Sunder moved onto Grow with SAP, it wanted procurement to be connected rather than bolted on. Purchase requisitions, purchase orders, gate entries, goods receipts and supplier invoices were handled in separate, largely manual steps, with data re-keyed into the ERP and invoices matched by hand. Vendor onboarding and material creation added more manual work for a lean team.

The solution

AeonX implemented SupplierX as Sunder's procurement platform, integrated with Grow with SAP and with AeonX's OrderX, ManuFex and LogystiX products so that procurement, production and dispatch share one data backbone.

Vendor onboarding with KYC, GST and PAN validation, approval workflow and vendor rating.

Purchase requisitions and purchase orders with approval and delegation workflows, synced to SAP.

Gate entry, advance shipping notices and GRN with item tagging, including Sunder-specific storage-location handling.

Architecture

SupplierX runs as multi-tenant SaaS on AWS (ECS, RDS MySQL, Redis, S3, SES, Textract) with a React front end, and posts to SAP through OData services for vendors, materials, requisitions, orders, goods receipts and invoices. At Sunder it sits alongside OrderX for sales orders, ManuFex for manufacturing and LogystiX for dispatch.

Delivery timeline

Where Claude comes in

SupplierX predates Claude Code; its core P2P platform has been built since 2023. From May 2026 AeonX used Claude Code to build AeonXIQ, the agentic AI layer now running on the platform, and to deliver the enhancements that followed Sunder's go-live, including invoice and MIRO phase 2 (TDS, freight, credit and debit notes) and gate-entry invoice booking. About 700 commits since 31 May 2026 are co-authored by Claude.

In production, AeonXIQ uses Claude on Google Vertex AI for advisory agents such as sourcing pipeline and inbox triage, for invoice vision OCR alongside AWS Textract, and for accounts-payable and negotiation reasoning. Every AI call is metered, and every award, send and posting stays with a person.

Results

Sunder went live in April 2026. Sunder is the reference deployment behind SupplierX's AWS Marketplace listing, and AeonX and Sunder are measuring its KPIs together.

AeonX runs every product repository as a Claude Code project. Each repository carries a CLAUDE.md project memory that records architecture, SAP posting rules and coding conventions, plus a set of Claude Code sub-agents (planner, developer, tester, security reviewer and DevOps) that mirror the team's own delivery process.
